We offer a professional and pragmatic service that supports your goals while protecting nature

Preliminary Ecological Appraisals
A Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA) is often the first step in the planning process. A PEA helps identify any potential ecological constraints to a development early on, combining a desk-based review with a site walkover survey to assess habitats and the potential for protected species. This provides valuable baseline information, helping to inform design and decision-making from the outset.

Bat Surveys
We hold bat survey licences for both both NRW and Natural England (Class 2) and can carry out:
- Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRAs)
- Ground Level Tree Assessments
- Emergence Surveys
- Transect/Night time walkover surveys
- Bat mitigation design
- Development licence applications including the named/nominated ecologist role
